Goals

Domino

  • Rehab from the February 2014 tendon injury (consistent soundness in moderate work)
  • Fitness: Be able to do 3 x 5 min. trot sets without getting exhausted
  • Trail ride alone without separation anxiety
  • Maintain correct stretchy trot for at least one full 20m circle in each direction
  • Improve straightness in the leg yield
  • Trail ride at least 1x/week

Tebow

  • Complete a beginner-novice event without jumping faults and a dressage score below 35
  • Complete a novice event without jumping faults
  • Improve balance in the canter transitions (upward and downward)
  • Improve right lead canter quality
  • Jump confidently into and out of water
  • Conquer the down bank
  • School novice cross country and show jumping fences confidently
  • School training cross country and show jumping fences confidently
  • Trail ride/fitness work at least 1x/week
  • Develop greater adjustability within each gait

Personal

  • Quieter inside rein
  • Ride both horses at least 3x/week
  • Audit a clinic at least 1x/month
  • Volunteer at an event or other show at least 1x/month during show season
  • Clean tack at least 1x/week
  • Work in two-point at least 5 10 minutes per ride
